Hi, I’m Kate, a licensed massage therapist with a passion for helping individuals connect with their bodies and live free of pain. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where each session is tailored to your unique needs—whether you're seeking relief from chronic tension, recovering from injury, or simply needing a moment to relax and reset.

With seven years of professional massage experience, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings including a holistic wellness center, a spa, a seaside hotel, and an acupuncture clinic in Southern Maine. These diverse environments have deepened my understanding of the body and broadened my approach to healing.

I’m a proud member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and hold a B.S. in Marine Biology. Discovering a career that brings together my love for problem solving with a compassionate, hands-on approach has been incredibly exciting and deeply rewarding.

Why Drift?

I chose the name "Drift" because I feel it perfectly captures the essence of what I offer and also speaks to my profound passion for the marine environment.

With a B.S. degree in Marine Biology, my connection to the ocean runs incredibly deep. For me, the word "drift" evokes the feeling of floating in waves, a serene surrender where one can truly release control and allow the water to carry them. It also brings to mind the effortless grace of drifting with the ocean current while scuba diving (one of my favorite pastimes), a sensation of weightlessness and pure tranquility. 

At Drift Massage Studio, my aim is to recreate this feeling of calm and effortless release, inviting you to find your inner peace as your tension gently drifts away.
